Flexibility. With both stand-alone or software-based systems, ResidentGuard from Accutech Security gives you the flexibility that comes from industry leading features, enabling your staff to spend more time caring for residents and less time managing systems.

Reliability. ResidentGuard wander management systems are one of the most interference free on the market, using technology that minimizes interference from other devices and reduces false alarms. Mobile phones, lighting ballasts, floor buffers and other sources of general electromagnetic interference can hinder the function of RFID. However, Accutech RFID products operate at a unique frequency (418 MHz) on the edge of a range available only to the Department of Defense.

Integration. ResidentGuard wander alert systems can be easily integrated with nurse call, electronic access control (EAC), closed-circuit television (CCTV), fall detection and other existing security mechanisms within your facility.

• Small resident tag. The RoamAlert tag is small and lightweight, only a third of an ounce and one inch across. With no hard edges, it is safe to use even on the most delicate skin, and so small that residents and family will barely notice it.
• Personalized resident protection. No other system offers as many options for customizing protection for each resident—letting them pass through some exits, but not others—giving them the maximum possible freedom.
• Scalable and expandable. RoamAlert lets you start with one or two doors for perimeter protection and expand up to a a community-wide system for wander management, emergency response and resident locating.

WanderGuard

With the WanderGuard system, you can choose from two resident-centered care alternatives: a 90-day device that complies with regular resident assessments, and a 12-month device, intended for the resident who presents a longer term departure risk.
